Everyware Linux is based on the Yocto project, one of the leading tools for building embedded Linux distributions, and it is optimized for Eurotech Multi-service IoT Edge Gateways. The Yocto Project is an open source collaboration project that helps developers create custom Linux-based systems that are designed for embedded products. The Everyware Linux distribution includes the drivers for all the Everyware Multi-Service IoT Gateway I/O interfaces, a package repository to enable remote updates, and it follows the accepted best practices for security hardening.
